I reached out about a week ago to ask if some people were willing to be a part of a group that I could reach out to to get quick snapshots of community opinions as well as being a part of preparing some of our accreditation pieces as required by the state, like a short portrait of a graduate session. This is not a long meeting group or anything that will be very strenuous. Right now, I have about 8 people that have indicated they would be willing to be a part of the group. The state recommends close to 30, but we do have people to represent each grade range of the school as well as one community member on board. If you would like to be added to my list, please email me or call the school and let us know if you would like to be put in the elementary, Junior High, High School, or external community member representative group.

All veterans are invited to attend a special breakfast at St. Regis School on 11-9-23 at 8 am. Dawn Palmer and Buffy Cheesman put together an amazing spread every year to honor those who have or are serving our country.

I am so proud of the 7-12 band and the work they've done so far! It was a wonderful Fall Concert last night and I heard lots of great compliments from the community members in attendance. In particular, the older kids patiently coaching the younger kids, the musicality of the older students, and the overall sound of the band were some of the highlights. I would like to again thank the community members that come in to play with us. Adults involving themselves in productive ways with our kids in school and out are the bridge to positive community building.

As part of the new accreditation procedures put into place, but also to aid a few of our grant programs, I am searching out at least 30 people from the community with a representative group of Elementary, Junior High, and High School parents/guardians that wouldn't mind being part of a group that answers emails or texts when we need stakeholder information for putting together our Portrait of a Graduate, providing information from the community regarding fund raising or levies, gathering information from the community about grant programs, and other necessary community input items. We can do this several different ways. I could put out quick surveys that could just be filled out quickly and returned, short meetings to gather information in an open forum setting, or just short answer questions sent out that could be answered via text or email. If you are interested in being a part of this group in a larger or smaller capacity, I would need you to commit to being available for feedback within a day or two at least through text or email on a regular basis. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please email me at larsond@stregis.k12.mt.us or call me at 406-649-2311.

Picture retakes on October 25th, not the 24th as we had originally thought. Sports pictures will be handled just like school pictures. He will be providing a link to view and order packages. He hopes to have them finished this week. Juniors that want retakes will be first because they have Pre-SAT's on the 25th. He will be here at 8:00 am so they should be done within the 1st 15 minutes If you are aware of students needing retakes because they are new, were absent, or just didn't like any of their photos, please let me know. It will allow us to take care of a few of the logistical challenges ahead of time. For further questions, please get in touch with Mrs. Phillips at 406-649-2311.

We apologize for our lack of NFHS feed so far this season. We have an email into the company to see if we can get some information to help get us reconnected, but they don't have any support available other than through email help tickets.

Hello Tiger Family. We have several students and staff members who are severely allergic to any nut product. In fact, if they even breathe it in, it can cause a severe reaction. As such, please don't send your student to school with any nut product (including Nutella). Thank you. Go Tigers!
