St. Regis Elementary is hosting the Annual Mineral County Fun Walk/Run on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 9 am. PK – Grade 4 will complete a 1-mile walk/run, while fifth and sixth grade classes will be completing a timed 5K walk/run (3.11 miles).
Participants are encouraged to proudly wear their school colors. Make sure your child wears running shoes, comfortable clothes, sunscreen, and brings a water bottle on the day of the race. Lunch for students will be served immediately following the race. This is a peanut-free event; please do not send or bring peanut-containing products.
Parents and siblings are welcome to participate. If you are interested, please let your child’s teacher know by indicating it on the permission form. Please note that water bottles and lunch are only provided for students and staff, so pack your own if you would like to eat with us.
Please encourage your child to prepare for this event ahead of time. Walking or running with your child at home before the race will increase their endurance and help make this day a fun and positive experience.
