    Grading Standards

    Students in third grade will be evaluated on the following grading system
    A (Advanced)
    P (Proficient)
    D (Developing)
    E (Emergent)
    Students will be monitored in reading, math, science, social studies, writing, study skills, and organization, and social skills. Report cards will be sent out and the end of each quarter. I will also send out progress reports at mid-quarter.


    Homework Requirements

    Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday, with the exception of holidays and special events. 20 Minutes of reading will always be included with the possibility of other review work that will reinforce skills that students have been learning in class.
