Job Description:
Full time. Present teaching assignments are: Accounting I, Computer Concepts I & II, Personal Finance/Street Law, Video Production/Web Design, Graphic Design I & II, & Marketing I & II.
Entry Level can be 2 year's prior experience, Step 3 at $26,141.90 up to prior five years experience placing the candidate on experience level 7 and Step 8 at $38,160.17. See website for Master Contract info.
Academic Qualifications:
-Completion of four year degree with certification desired
-Collegiate gpa of 3.0 or stronger desired
-Advanced degree a plus
Supplemental Information:
-Successful candidate will be expected to work with district to continue alignment of district's Business Education course offerings with the County Curriculum Consortium and with State OPI and CTE standards. Career Pathways are in place and are being gradually expanded.
-Very strong Technology skills a must.
-Ability to convey an excitement and urgency for skill sets available to Business Education students is necessary.
-Skills using RTI a plus. (If not in place, successful candidate will need to embrace training).
-Willingness to be involved in school district activities and extra-curriculars is necessary. Ability to advise clubs and/or coach extra-curriculars highly desireable.
-School District embraces continuous school improvement and professional learning communities.
Successful candidate will need to be able commit to these approaches to enhance student opportunities and learning.

Search Team Approach

For all teaching and administrative positions a Search Team approach is used to identify and select a candidate of choice, considering a candidate’s skills and the needs of the District.  Participation on the Search Team is open to a cross-section of teachers, Support staff, Board members, parents and/or community members, and School Board Student representative for some aspects of the search.  Searches for Support staff are usually completed by administration.  All positions are taken before the Board for approval and/or information. 

 Teacher or Administrative Candidates interested in a position should:

-Fully review our District website to be acquainted with our District
-Print and complete our District Application Form, Sign, and mail to us. (Temporarily faxing or scanning and sending as an e-mail attachment is also acceptable).
-Letter of Interest for the position with Candidates related skills.
-Current Resume, with References (including Current Business, Residential, & Cell phone number & e-mail.
-Current Letters of Reference (3 to 6)
-Official Transcripts/Verification of Certificates
  and/or Licenses
-Portfolio is welcome and will be returned.

Support Staff Candidates:
